Mr & Mrs Page's wedding was one of 2016 weddings that I was really looking forward to sharing and capturing, I first met Catherine and William when they came to my studio months before their wedding day, before I knew it were 2 hours into a meeting because we had spent the whole time chatting about cheese, food and anything else related. Being a huge foodie I was in my element and we chatted like we were lifelong friends.
Well the big day arrived and they were to be married at Carden Park Hotel Resort & Spa. The sun shone meaning that their outdoor ceremony was able to take place, it really was the perfect setting for this amazing couple.
Catherine and William are so much in love and were an absolute pleasure to photograph.
After their ceremony we head over to the lawn where Isabelles ices were serving icecream, it tasted amazing and Catherine was insisted I enjoyed some before carrying on with photographing the day. I just felt so welcome.
Group shots got underway and then it was time to do the couples portraits, the venue had arranged for a golf buggy to take us up over the course where we managed to get some absolutely stunning shots, I have to say it was definitely one of my favourite venues to photograph.
It was soon time for the meal and speeches and Cath and Will made sure I was well looked after, speeches were both funny and emotional, just how they should be.
The venue itself was one of the best ive ever photographed and so much potential to get amazing shots of this loved up couple.
The day flowed just how it should and it went perfectly, we set our photobooth up which the guests loved and then it was time for My favourite part of the day (apart from all of it) was definitely the fireworks. it was the perfect end to a perfect day.
