Well now I have got back into the swing of writing this blog I feel i'm a little bit back on track so the next wedding up is the lovely Jamie-Lea & Chris who got married at Red Hall Hotel which is situated just minutes from my home in Bury it was a beautiful sunny day in Autumn.

Jamie-Lea & Chris both met at their works Christmas party and had been together for 2 years and 10 months when they got married.

Jamie-Lea described their engagement as perfect. It was just the 2 of them at home and Chris called Jamie-Lea into the kitchen where he was on one knee with an engagement ring and a Pandora charm... what a romantic!

They wanted their day to be relaxed and completely stress free so their closest family and friends could enjoy their day too, Jamie-Lea made sure that everything was just perfect for her family and friends as she told me that she wanted them to enjoy the day just as much as they did and I have to say she did such a perfect job because her guests and myself were so relaxed which completely reflects my style of what I do. I keep a very relaxed and natural theme to my photos, minimal posing and lots of laughs.

The Dress

Jamie-Lea got her dress from the lovely ladies at Because I Love You in Farnworth. She had an idea in mind about what she wanted but wasn't quite sure so the lovely ladies in the shop picked some out for her, she didn't want to try the dress on that but eventually did and in her words “From the moment I put it on I just knew it was the one. My mums reaction said it all, she cried as soon as she seen me and every other time after that.”.

She knew then that she had found the perfect dress for her and the best bit about finding her dress was she got to spend time with her mum which was very special.

The venue – Red Hall Hotel

The Red Hall Hotel is a beautiful building reopened in 2009 the ‘new’ Red Hall Hotel officially opened by Sir Alex Ferguson and is located in Bury in the heart of the North West, UK. It’s a beautiful place to host weddings, christening and more.

This gorgeous couple decided to have their wedding here because it was just perfect for the modern autumn theme of their big day as well as how convenient it was – they were able to have their wedding ceremony & reception in the same place. Would they recommend the venue ? "Definitely! The staff were amazing from start to finish"

The day started off with bridal prep at Jamie-Lea & Chris' lovely home it was a very relaxed morning of bride & bridesmaids getting hair and make up done, lots of fun, laughter and even a few tears.

The morning flew by so quickly and it was time to leave. We did a father daughter reveal which was such a beautiful moment seeing the bride in her stunning wedding dress, I even admit to having a few tears myself.

Jamie-Lea's favourite part was when Chris saw her for the first time and said 'wow you look stunning.

I thought your dress would be nice but I never imagined it to be this nice. You look incredible'.

Chris also described his favourite part of the day as seeing his stunning bride walk down the aisle and both of their families getting on and having a laugh together.

This gorgeous pair had a super intimate ceremony with their closest family and friends,

Canapes, drinks and laughs was how the day went, lots of beautiful family time as well as family photos and intimate couple shots made their day just perfect.

I asked them both how was your experience taking photos/working with me on your wedding day?

Their reply was "The experience was brilliant. It was not stressful at all! It felt like a friend was taking my pictures which made us all feel at ease."

Thank you so much to Jamie-Lea & Chris for choosing me to capture their amazing day. Check out some images below of how their day went & I wish you two the best!
